The inhouse R&D program at the Biomin Research Centre in Campus Tullin, Austria is staffed by over 100 scientific researchers with a research network of 200 academic and research institutions globally. Royal DSM Austria acquired Biomin & Romer labs in October 2020. 

The research teams in microbiology, molecular biology, cell biology, analytics, fermentation, bioactive ingredient formulation and quality control work work to develop methods that lay the foundation for new inventions in the animal feed industry.

DSM is constantly in touch with the latest scientific knowhow, from which novel feed additives are developed and produced worldwide.
